Eversley Cricket Club has undertaken risk assessments for its four playing and coaching facilities.
The risk assessments have highlighted the following:
1. Cars and vehicles using the gravel roads alongside the main ground must adhere to the 5 mph speed limit.
2. The small stream running behind the main club house and dividing the two grounds represents a potential hazard to small children. Parents must remain vigiliant and ensure small children are under supervision at all times.
3. Balls being struck into the Reading Road represent a risk to vehicles and other traffic. Coaches must ensure that training and matches are organised to avoid the risk of cricket balls being stuck into the road. Any cricket balls struck into the road must be retrieved by an adult.
